The Twelfth Wave Matching Network

Although the mismatch between 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm systems are usually acceptable, it's easy to obtain a near perfect match using a pair of twelfth wave lines. The nice part is you only need 50 and 75 Ohm coaxial line, which you probably already have, to construct the matching network. The dimensions are not critical and the bandwidth is very broad.

Meter Band Line Length (solid dielectric coax)
160m 27.8 Feet
75/80m 14.1 Feet
40m 7.4 Feet
30m 5.2 Feet
20m 3.7 Feet
17m 2.9 Feet
15m 2.5 Feet
12m 2.1 Feet
10m 1.8 Feet
