Timeline

1100 - 1104
Sancho, my Heir marries into the nobility of Galacia.  Feram negotiates with Salamanca to the south of Leon.  Both of these efforts help to expand the borders of Leon.

Word travels that that Franks are attacking one another yet again. No nation is destroyed but thousands die in the conflict.  Fortunately for the moment we sit at peace and improve our military prowess.

1105 - 1109
A grandson is born, what a glorious time.  The lands of Galacia are more dear to my heart just thinking about it.

Continued infighting occurs and a watchful eye is cast upon the Aragon nation of which little has been heard from in years.

A religious wave sweeps aside age old friendships and leaving me to deal with a rift of sorts.

1110 - 1114
I traveled to the Pozo de la Sangre and was touched with a vision. This is not some cult, but a reformation of ideals sweeping through the lands. I find that these teachings of kinship of all men, and peaceful resolution where possible have great appeal.

M’good Sancho has delivered upon Leon a generation of children to raise and continue the bloodline.  In gratitude the port city of La Coruna is completed along the Bay of Biscay.

1115-1119
It seems there are fates worse than your own death.  My beloved queen and now my beloved grandchild have passed. Sancho in particular takes this hard and has been preaching the harmonious message of Casilda.  What once may have been considered heresy in my mind now makes sense.

My initial response to this whole thing was one of ridicule, but “Loving your neighbor as yourself” is gospel.  Jesus, the Son of God preached those same words. Perhaps this wave of reform based on the more peaceful teachings of the bible reminds us of that.

Advisors from every corner of the current Leon lands with all but the more hard line holdouts seem to have accepted these practices as their own. Leon is at a standstill, something must be done soon or more regions like Galacia will declare independence.
