Exarch Maros, a quiet man
Exarch Maros

A.C. 2874 - 2875
I too follow in my fathers footsteps coming into power in the middle ages of my life. No matter our cities need feeding and the peasant folk need work to do. Finding our treasury healthy I’ve orderered any able bodied man in South Akasia to be granted land and an oxen.

In a bizarre event in court and without a true Wizard amongst us the seer Maraun rambles on extensively about some Black Pit and all sorts of ill omens. Unsettling.

A.C. 2876 - 2880
Giants have come down from the heights to enslave nearby free peoples including Elves and Men. Without direct intervention the States cannot send enough manpower to sway the outcome. As an eddict in court however a portion of taxes shall go to the War effort against them. Our merchants have agreed to the dangerous task of shipping the gold and weapons to those allies in need.

A.C. 2881 - 2885

I’ve also agreed to a detachment of Crusader Knights to be included in the mix. On the open ground there are few who can withstand the charge. The Grand Master has send heraldic runners back and forth allowing for communication between the States and the Order of the Dawn. As has been for a couple of generations our combined arms deters less determined foes.

Ah the details of the Palace. It is a beautiful place, however there are times when the wind rushing past and a strong steady horse would hold much greater appeal. My son Rehme continues with his lessons and seems to have taken quite well so say his tutors. I look forward to the first fruits from the Salt Shore.
