most Toshiba telephone systems, the date is set from the MAIN telephone.
With the handset in the cradle, press intercom #651, then enter the
date (YYMMDD), press re-dial, press Spkr. |

do I set the day of the week on my Toshiba telephone system? |

For
most Toshiba telephone systems, the day of the week is set from the
MAIN telephone. With the handset in the cradle, press intercom #653,
enter the number which corresponds to the day of the week beginning
with 1 = Sunday, 2 = Monday, 3 = Tuesday, etc., press re-dial, press
Spkr. |

do I set the time on my Panasonic telephone system? |

Panasonic
telephone systems set the time automatically to adjust for Daylight
Savings Time changes. For other time changes you will have to call
Unitel. |

My
message light is blinking and when I push it, it calls another telephone
or
another person's voice mail. What should I do? |

At
the telephone that has the blinking message light, with the handset
in the cradle, press the intercom key and dial #409. This should clear
the message light. The telephone can store up to four different extensions
to dial so you may have to repeat the process four times to clear
it. |

want to move to a new desk. Can I take my telephone with me? |

You
can take your phone with you however you must first call Unitel. The
programming for your telephone is in the telephone jack, not stored
in the telephone itself. There will have to be wiring changes made
to allow your phone to work the same as it was working and to keep
your old extension. |

How
do I program the speed dial on my Toshiba telephone system? |

A |
System speed dials are
different with different systems. DK8, DK16, DK16e, DK40, DK280,
or DK424 with an A Processor have 40 system speed dial locations.
They are locations 60 - 99. DK280 and DK424 with a B, or C/D, B2
or B3 Processor have 100 speed dial locations. They are locations
600 - 699. A DK424 with an E/F or B5 Processor has 800 system speed
dial locations. They are locations 200 - 999.
System speed dials can
only be set and changed from the MAIN telephone. To program system
speed dials, with the handset in the cradle, press the Re-dial key,
press the Speed Dial key, dial in the location number (60 - 99 or
600 - 699 or 200 - 999), then enter the telephone number just as
you would normally dial it, entering a 9 in front of the number
if you would normally dial a 9 to get an outside line, then press
Re-dial to save.

do I program my personal speed dial numbers on my Toshiba telephone? |

All systems, except
the DK424 with an E/F Processor, use speed dial locations 10 - 49
to program personal speed dial numbers. The DK424 with an E/F Processor
uses locations 100 - 149 to program personal speed dial numbers.
Personal speed dial
numbers are programmed from the USER'S telephone not the main telephone.
With the handset in the cradle, press the Re-dial key, press the
Speed Dial key, dial in the location number (10 - 49 or 100 - 149),
then enter the telephone number just as you would normally dial
it, entering a 9 in front of the number if you would normally dial
a 9 to get an outside line, then press Re-dial to save.

do I program the speed dial on my Panasonic 576, 576 HD and 824 telephone
systems? |

With
the handset in the cradle press the On/Off key, press the Prog key,
then press the Auto key, dial in the location number (000 - 799),
dial the telephone number, press the Hold key, and then press the
On/Off key. |

do I program my personal speed dial numbers on my Panasonic 576 HD
and 824 telephone systems? |

With the handset in
the cradle press the On/Off key, then press the Prog key, press
the Auto key, dial in the location number you would like to use
(80 - 99), dial in the telephone number, press the Hold key, then
press the On/Off key.
To program a speed dial
to a One Touch Key, follow the same steps.

if I forget the security code for my voice mailbox? |

If you have a system
administrator they can reset your security code. If you do not have
a system administrator you will need to call Unitel to have them
reset it for you.

How
do I forward my Toshiba telephone to voice mail? |
|
A |
With the handset in
the cradle, press the intercom key, dial #604 then dial your voice
mail extension number, press the speed dial key, dial a 2 digit
code for the number of seconds a telephone rings before it is forwarded
to voice mail, then press the re-dial key to save. This will forward
unanswered and busy calls to voice mail.

can I shorten the time it takes to send my calls to voice mail? |

Press the key labeled
Forward to Voice Mail or DND (do not disturb).

do I forward my Panasonic telephone to voice mail? |

Press the CFwd VM set
key. To take it off of forward to voice mail press the CFwd VM Clear
key.
